CHRIS JERICHO AROUND THE WORLD IN SPANDEX PDF

There were brief periods of my childhood where I simply loved WWF — staying up all night to watch the Royal Rumble, refusing to fully accept it was scripted and staging highly dangerous wrestling matches with friends. And for me the nostalgia for how much I loved WWF once upon a time. It covers his early life and his wrestling career right up to the point he joined WWF. Jericho details the many hardships and hilarious moments he went through on his quest to be a well-known professional wrestler. The book is the story of a childhood dream fulfilled. It is also a chronicle of life on the road, a young man finding his place and enjoying the fruits of that success.

From the age of eight, Chris dreamed of becoming a wrestler. But it wasn't until he was 25 that he hit the big time. He became one of their biggest stars, even defeating wrestling powerhouses The Rock and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin in the same night to be crowned the undisputed Heavyweight Champion.

Now Chris dishes the dirt on his rivalries with other wrestling legends. Whether ripped-off by promoters, robbed at gunpoint or nearly paralysed after landing on his head during a match, Chris maintained his courage, determination and sense of humour about this dangerous and enthralling sport. So charming and funny is Chris Jericho's journey from body-slammingly painful naivety to worldly wrestling champ, that his memoirs will leave cynics finding time for a private read - GQ.

I've read this book several times and it's not any less enjoyable This is the first true epic of wrestling books and should be on the shelf of every true wrestling fan Carl Rogers: A Critical Biography.
